Nate Holmes Trapnell was born and bread in far north Queensland until moving to Melbourne in 2000 to pursue a career as a creative, working in a range of areas including graphic design, film and event management. His illustration became his main focus in 2007 when he decided to dedicate all his time to his unique cross pollinated style encompassing hot rod, graffiti and comic book influences. Showcasing this dedication and style in his first solo show in July 2008 "The Fine line".

Nate now calls on all the skills accumulated over his time in Melbourne to help other artists exhibit their work as a curator at new Melbourne gallery "Gorker", while illustrating for corporate clients and showing in group and solo shows Australia wide.
